There is no solid scientific evidence to suggest that saw palmetto weakens the effectiveness of hormonal contraception. However, because it can affect hormone levels, there is a theoretical risk that it could reduce the effectiveness of certain contraceptive methods, including the pill. If you are concerned about such an effect, I recommend keeping a time interval between preparations - about 4-5 hours. I also suggest considering a hair condition product that is not based on saw palmetto, e.g. Vitabella or Kerabione in the standard version.
