To minimize the risk of interactions between hydroxyzine and alcohol, it is advisable to wait at least 24-48 hours after the last dose of hydroxyzine before consuming alcohol. If you have taken the medication for a longer period of time or in higher doses, it is better to wait longer, such as 72 hours. After this time, alcohol consumption should no longer be associated with any risk.
