Yes. Encorton can cause weight gain, especially if used for long periods of time or in high doses. Weight gain is mainly caused by water retention in the body, increased appetite and a change in the distribution of body fat. After discontinuation of Encorton, the weight usually gradually returns to normal, but this process may take some time, and it is also influenced by the patient's individual predispositions.
