I take Duphaston to regulate my period, but I forgot to take it in August. Your period is 35 days late. Is it by stopping the drug?

I have been taking Duphaston 10mg to regulate periods on time since last 3 cycles. I forgot to take it in August and now my period is late by 35 days. Is is possible because of discontinuing Duphaston?

A delay in menstruation by 35 days after stopping Duphaston may be related to a lack of progesterone, which the drug provided. After discontinuing Duphaston, the body may need time to restore its natural hormonal cycle. In this situation, I encourage you to consult your doctor to assess the situation and rule out other potential causes of delayed menstruation.
