Tinnitus and ear congestion can occur as a result of various factors, such as infections, excessive earwax, swelling of the ear canal, allergic reactions, or reactions to medications. Both ailments are not typical side effects of clotrimazole, but can occur as a result of a reaction to the drug, irritation of the ear canal or a developing bacterial or fungal infection.
If you experience these symptoms, it is recommended that you consult your doctor to assess whether they are related to the use of Fungotac drops or whether they may be due to another cause. You may need to stop taking the medicine or use a different therapy.
