An hour after intercourse, I took an ella one pill. However, I did an ovulation test the next day and it showed two lines (one slightly lighter than the other)besides, I can see vaginal discharge .does this mean that ovulation has occurred and fertilization may occur?

Taking ellaOne when ovulation has occurred may not be effective. The action of the drug is based on inhibiting or delaying ovulation. However, if the drug was taken before ovulation, it is highly effective in preventing possible pregnancy.

The interpretation of the ovulation test result depends on which of the lines was lighter. A positive result of the ovulation test is indicated by the presence of 2 lines (one in the test field, the other in the result field), but the lines must be colored the same or the line in the result field is more intense.
