Whether Forlax taken at 1 p.m. will interfere with the effect of contraception used at 8 p.m.?

If I took forlax at 1 p.m. and then at the same time – 8.30 p.m., did I take birth control pills, did they retain their effectiveness?
There was no vomiting or diarrhoea after forlax

No, it won't. Forlax (macrogol) is a laxative used to treat constipation. It works by retaining water in the intestines, which makes it easier to defecate. Forlax does not interact directly with oral contraceptives, which means that it should not affect their effectiveness. So there is no reason to worry. If Forlax causes severe diarrhoea, it may affect the absorption of the birth control pill if it is taken shortly before diarrhoea occurs. Then the effectiveness of the tablet may be reduced and only then should the next dose of the drug be taken.

Forlax can be purchased at an online pharmacy:

User questions and answers that provide feedback about products are not verified for the purchase or use of the product. Companies often order anonymous comments to form positive opinions about their products, or negative ones about competitors. Therefore, be guided by the information in the pharmacists' responses in the first place.
