I forgot to take my 8th birth control pill and yesterday I had intercourse. Is there a risk of pregnancy?

Hello. Yesterday I forgot to take the 8th pill of Klayra (contraceptives), today there was sexual intercourse and then I took the 8th and 9th pills together. Is pregnancy possible?

If the forgotten pill is taken within 12 hours of the standard time of use - protection against pregnancy has been maintained. If more than 12 hours have passed since the prescribed time of taking the pill, the effectiveness of contraceptive protection may decrease. You should then take the missed tablet as soon as possible.
even if it is equivalent to taking two tablets at the same time. The next tablets should be taken at the agreed time, and for the next 7 days an additional method of contraception should be used. In your case, the risk of pregnancy is low, but it always exists. To be calm, please take a pregnancy test 10-14 days after intercourse.
