No. Anafranil (clomipramine) is not known to affect pregnancy test results. Pregnancy tests detect the hormone hCG (chorionic gonadotropin), which is produced during pregnancy. Clomipramine does not affect the levels of this hormone in the body.

Certain health conditions, medications, or improper test performance can lead to a false positive result. If you are unsure about the test result, it is worth consulting your doctor and considering repeating the test or taking a blood test for hCG.
