Can I consume alcohol while taking Sympramol and Betesta?
Hello, can I consume alcohol while taking Sympramol 50 and Betesta 20mg/ml? I'm approaching an occasional party and for this reason I would like to celebrate it with the rest of the people, as if I write that it is not advisable to combine alcohol with these drugs, but this is the case with most drugs. Can anything happen after a few glasses or 2 glasses of wine? ;) Or maybe it's better to stop taking the pills for that day, but on the other hand, the blood remains in the blood for another 2 weeks.

If you plan to consume alcohol at a party, it would be better to consult your doctor for individual guidance. Stopping the medication for a day may not be the best option, as its effects can persist in the body for a longer period of time, which can lead to unpredictable effects.
Combining alcohol with drugs such as Sympramol (opipramol) and Betesda (escitalopram) is not recommended. Alcohol can increase the side effects of both medications, including drowsiness, dizziness, and respiratory depression. In addition, it can reduce the effectiveness of treatment of depression and anxiety disorders. It is recommended to avoid alcohol while using these medications.
