According to current data, nifuroxazid may have mutagenic potential and should therefore not be used by pregnant women. However, data on this topic is limited due to the lack of sufficient studies in humans.
Without prior medical consultation, you should not take any antidiarrheal medications on your own during pregnancy. Do not continue taking the medication and remember to ensure that you are properly hydrated.
