My gynaecologist recommended Cerazette for 1.5 years, but I'm still losing a lot of blood when it normalizes?

Good morning I would like to ask a question .. I'm 51 years old and I've always had a heavy cycle with a duration of 10 days and ➕️ with lots of clots. The gynecologist has been making me take waxes for 1 month and a half and I always have blood loss. they also told me that I'm in first break.. Now I wonder what I should do. I will pass these losses and I will return to my period.normal?,thank you for your attention.

Heavy periods lasting 10 days with the presence of clots can indicate health problems such as uterine fibroids, endometriosis or hormonal disorders, especially in the context of perimenopause, and Cerazette can affect the amount of blood lost.

Bleeding with Cerazette often decreases or disappears after a few months of regular use. In some women, this can occur as early as 2-3 months, but in others, it can take longer to regulate bleeding, up to 6 months. If the bleeding continues to be heavy after this time, it is worth consulting a gynaecologist for further evaluation.
