Can a 10 month baby take Contrahist?

Can a 10-month-old child take contrahist 0.5mg/ml. It is prescribed 1.5ml 2 times a day. I read in the leaflet that it should not be used for such babies.

Although according to the manufacturer's recommendations, Contrahist is intended for patients over 2 years of age, with the consent of the caregiver/parent, this drug is often included in anti-allergic treatment due to its beneficial therapeutic effect.

The doctor has the right to use the drug on the basis of his or her best knowledge and experience, and not on the basis of the manufacturer's indications. It is also a common practice. If the treating physician decides to use Contrahist in a younger child, this involves close monitoring of the young patient.
