Zinnat (cefuroxime) is an antibiotic belonging to the cephalosporin group that is used to treat various bacterial infections. It can be used to treat infections of the teeth and gums, including infections caused by erupting wisdom teeth (wisdom teeth).

If you have lockjaw caused by an erupting wisdom tooth, it may be the result of inflammation or infection in the tooth area. In this case, Zinnat may be prescribed by your doctor or dentist to fight the bacterial infection. Please follow your doctor's instructions.
