Information contained in the summary of product characteristics:
"Concomitant use of rosuvastatin (Roswera) and oral contraceptives resulted in an increase in the AUC of ethinylestradiol and norgestrel by 26 and 34%, respectively. This should be taken into account when determining the dose of contraception. There are no pharmacokinetic data on the concomitant use of rosuvastatin and hormone replacement therapy, therefore no
A similar effect as when used concomitantly with contraceptives can be excluded. However, these drugs were used concomitantly and were well tolerated by many patients in clinical trials."
To put it simply, Roswera changes the metabolism of contraceptive pills and may cause disorders in their action and a significant increase in the risk of side effects. I encourage you to consult your gynaecologist about the above problem before you start hormonal treatment. If your doctor (based on e.g. clinical experience) decides that you can take both drugs in your case, then follow the dosage recommendations precisely.
