Should I take 2 tablets of Trioxal for the first 2 days of each month (e.g. 1 and 2 September, 1 and 2 October) until the entire package is used up?

Hello, the doctor prescribed me 3 packs of Trioxal for seborrheic dermatitis 2 tablets once a day for 4 weeks, and then as a maintenance treatment 2 tablets for the first 2 days of the following months, does this mean that I should take e.g. September 1 and 2 and then October 1 and 2 etc. until the entire package of the drug is used up? Best regards

As prescribed by your doctor, after completing a 4-week treatment with Trioxal (2 tablets per day), you should use the medication as maintenance therapy for the first two days of each month. This means that after the end of the treatment, you should take 2 tablets of Trioxal on 1 and 2 September, then 2 tablets on 1 and 2 October, and so on, until the medicine pack is exhausted.

If you have any doubts about dosage or side effects, it is worth consulting your doctor again. If you are unable to consult your doctor, you can use the teleconsultation here:
