Should a one-time lack of withdrawal bleeding be worrying?
Good morning, while taking placebo tablets, the bleeding must be there x force or may not even come? It has always appeared to me, but this month I am at the penultimate white tablet and the bleeding is still not visible and I am a little worried! Thank you

According to the manufacturer of Drovelis: "Withdrawal bleeding usually starts on day 2 or 3 after starting the white placebo pill and may not stop before the next pack starts." However, withdrawal bleeding can vary in intensity, it can also occur earlier or later. There may also be a situation in which withdrawal bleeding does not occur at all. This is influenced by various external factors, e.g. stress, physical exertion.
A single lack of withdrawal bleeding should not be alarming if you have used the tablets in accordance with the recommendations in the leaflet and the doctor's recommendations. However, if there are situations in which the effectiveness of contraception may have been reduced (e.g. vomiting or diarrhoea 4 hours after taking the active ingredient tablet, taking certain medications, skipping the active pill) and you are sexually active, you should consult your doctor and rule out pregnancy. Medical consultation is also recommended if withdrawal bleeding does not occur during the use of placebo tablets from the next pack.
