Imatinib is a medication used to treat certain cancers, such as chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) and stromal gastrointestinal tumors (GIST). During therapy with imatinib it is important to avoid certain foods and drinks that may affect the metabolism of the drug, increasing the risk of side effects, these foods include grapefruit and grapefruit juice, orange juice, alcohol, and St. John's wort supplements. Apart from these products - the rest can be eaten without restrictions.
