Olfen is a medicine containing diclofenac, which is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It is used to relieve pain, reduce inflammation, and lower fever. Olfen is available in a variety of forms, including tablets, ointments, and injections.
Olfen injections are usually used in cases of acute pain when oral intake of the drug is inadvisable or impossible. Diclofenac injections can be used for several days, but are not intended for long-term use due to the risk of side effects. Using them for 5 days should not be a problem.
