Is bleeding for 12 days while using Evra a cause for concern?
9.99 zł

I have been using Evra patches for half a year. There was always normal bleeding from the withdrawal of the preparation.
Due to the holidays, I didn't keep a 7-day break between packages, only after the 3rd patch I stuck another one from the new package. With the 3rd pack, bleeding occurred with symptoms of menstruation with 1 patch. The bleeding has been going on for 12 days, no pain. What now? To be anxious? Finish the packaging and take a break?

The use of Evra patches without the standard 7-day break may lead to unforeseen bleeding. In your case, bleeding lasting for 12 days, despite the lack of pain, may be the result of a change in the use regimen.

I encourage you to finish the current packaging of the patches and take a standard break. If the bleeding does not stop after a break or if other worrying symptoms appear, consult your doctor for further evaluation and possible modification of the contraceptive method. If you are not able to make a face-to-face visit, I attach a link to the online teleconsultation:
