How to deal with persistent constipation during pregnancy?

I'm pregnant, I haven't had a distinction for over a week. During this time, I have already used a dozen glycerin suppositories, a whole package of melilax. For 3 days he has been taking forlax, 4-6 sachets a day. Still ZERO results. I'm worried, I don't know what else I can do. The doctors are ignoring the problem, and I have already had bowel torsion once because of my constipation. Can I increase the dose further?

You have taken a significant amount of constipation preparations, which did not bring any improvement in the situation. I encourage you - despite everything - to consult the problem with a gynaecologist again, if only because of the history of intestinal disease.

A laxative approved for use during pregnancy is Lactulose:

and Eva-Q suppositories (stronger than classic glycerin suppositories):

On our website, you can check the availability of the above products and place an order with collection at the pharmacy or home delivery.

It is worth remembering about proper hydration (drinking large amounts of water facilitates bowel movements), a diet rich in fiber and daily physical activity (movement improves intestinal peristalsis). In addition, eating certain products, e.g. plums, beets, additionally supports regular bowel movements.
