Cipronex is a medicine that contains ciprofloxacin, which is an antibiotic from the fluoroquinolone group. It is used to treat various bacterial infections.

Ciprofloxacin, like other fluoroquinolone drugs, can affect the heart, especially when it comes to electrical conductivity. The use of Cipronex in patients with existing cardiac conduction disorders, including repolarisation disorders, may be risky.
