Will frequent latching on the baby restore lactation after treatment with Bromergon for clogged ducts?

Good morning
The doctor prescribed me 3xhalf tablets of 2.5mg for three days (half a day) for clogged ducts. One embolism relaxed, while a new one appeared in the other breast The worst thing, however, is that I have the impression of less milk. The doctor assured me that such a dose would not affect lactation. Will frequent latching on the baby return to its lactation level? If I have already taken this drug, can prolactin not be produced?

Bromergon is a drug that inhibits the secretion of prolactin. Taking this medication, even in small doses, can reduce milk production in nursing mothers. However, frequent breastfeeding and pumping should help maintain lactation. Sucking stimulates the secretion of prolactin and oxytocin, hormones necessary for lactation.

If milk production does not return to normal, consult a lactation consultant or pediatrician who may recommend the use of medications or herbs to stimulate lactation. Avoid taking prolactin inhibitors unless absolutely necessary.

If you have doubts about this situation, it is always worth consulting a doctor who can provide more personalized advice. If you are not able to make a face-to-face visit, I attach a link to the online teleconsultation:
