Whether Proursan is better than Famogast and Prokit? Should I use the prescribed one for irritable bowel Debretin?

I have irritable bowel syndrome and reflux gastropathy. Now my reflux is raging and I can't cope. So far I have been taking famogast and sometimes procit. Is proursan a better drug? Is it better to use Deberetin which is prescribed for my irritable bowel.

Proursan is a drug with a completely different effect than Famogast and Prokit. Whether it is a better medicine for you at this point should be determined by the attending physician. The introduction of Debretin into the treatment regimen and the modification of therapy should be carried out as prescribed by the doctor.

Proursan contains one of the bile acids (ursodeoxycholic acid), found in human bile, among others. The drug reduces the secretion of cholesterol into bile, prevents the formation of gallstones and causes them to dissolve. The drug is used, m.in, to treat gastritis caused by bile regurgitation.

Famogast contains famotidine, which blocks histamine H2 receptors, located in the wall of parietal cells of the stomach. It inhibits the secretion of hydrochloric acid for 10 to 12 hours. The drug is used, m.in others, in gastroesophageal reflux disease.

Prokit, on the other hand, contains itopride that stimulates gastrointestinal peristalsis, supports gastric emptying and has an antiemetic effect. The drug is used, m.in others, for a feeling of fullness in the stomach, heartburn, nausea and vomiting.

Debretin has a stimulating effect on intestinal motility. The effect of trimebutin (the active substance of the drug) depends on the functional status of the gastrointestinal tract. The preparation stimulates the intestinal muscles with reduced activity and has a spasmolytic (relaxant) effect on muscles with increased motor excitability. The drug is used to treat, for example, gastrointestinal motility disorders, referred to as irritable bowel syndrome,

All of the above-mentioned drugs are dispensed from pharmacies only on the basis of a valid medical prescription and should be used according to the recommendations of the attending physician. It is the doctor who determines which medications are right for you at the moment.
If it has not been specified which medications and how you should take them, I encourage you to consult your doctor again. If you are not able to visit in person, I encourage you to use the teleconsultation, e.g. via the Gdziepolek.pl portal:
