Can I use Lacibios Femina for more than 2 months if I am pregnant?
9.99 zł

Hello, I'm 35 weeks pregnant and I've been struggling with intimate infections for two months so at the end of May I started taking an oral probiotic for pregnant women, Lacibios Femina. My question is is is it safe to use this probiotic for such a long time (2 months)? Could I have harmed the baby in any way? Thank you in advance for the reply

There are no contraindications to long-term intake of the probiotic Lacibios Femina during pregnancy. The probiotic works within the intestines, does not get into the child's circulatory system or to a small extent.

The latest research shows that in the case of children whose mothers used the probiotic with L.rhamnosus during pregnancy, there is a lower risk of AD and other inflammatory diseases after birth.

"It has been proven that women at risk of giving birth to a child with atopic dermatitis, asthma or another type of allergy who took probiotics during pregnancy – the Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG strain in the third trimester, as well as during breastfeeding – reduced the risk of these diseases in the baby."

Lacibios Femina needs to be refrigerated, so it is not possible to purchase this product with shipping. Here you can check its availability in the pharmacies connected to our portal and make a reservation:
