If the Evra patch has moved while bathing, do I need additional contraceptive methods?
9.99 zł

I always put evra patches on Sundays. The second patch came off on Thursday, so I put an extra one on it. Unfortunately, as a result of the bath on Friday, it shifted quite a lot. According to the cycle, I should stick another patch on Sunday. Will the effectiveness of contraception be maintained? Should I use additional condoms?

If Evra has started to peel off during bathing, stick it back to the same place. If it is not damaged and sticks to the skin where it was applied, it is not necessary to use additional methods of contraception.

Additional barrier methods of contraception are indicated if the period in which the patch was removed was longer than 24 hours, or if it was not noticed when the patch had come off.

Please note that you can only have one patch of Evra applied at a time.
