When can I give my child Polyvaccinum mite if he or she was diagnosed with whooping cough about a month ago?
9.99 zł

When can I give my child the first dose of Polyvaccinum mite if my child has had whooping cough. The first symptoms of the disease appeared in the child on 30.06, now on 25.07 the child begins to recover. The amount includes information that you should not give your child a drug for infectious diseases, hence my question.

Treatment of whooping cough usually lasts from 2 to 8 weeks, so if your child is already recovering and you do not observe clear symptoms of the disease (severe cough), you can start treatment with Polyvaccinum mite. Nevertheless, it is a prescription drug, so the pediatrician should decide to start the therapy (after examining the child).
