Yes, you may feel sick after taking Prefaxine (the active ingredient in which is venlafaxine). Nausea is one of the common side effects of this drug, especially at the beginning of treatment or after increasing the dose. Venlafaxine is a serotonin norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor (SNRI) and is mainly used to treat depression, anxiety and other psychiatric disorders.

Gastrointestinal symptoms often improve after a few days or weeks of using the drug as the body adjusts to its effects. If the nausea is severe or persists, it is worth consulting a doctor, who may recommend adjusting the dose or changing the medication.
