Ascorvita is an over-the-counter drug in the form of effervescent tablets, containing 1000 mg of vitamin C. According to the manufacturer's information, the method of administering the drug consists in dissolving 1 tablet once a day in half a glass of water or juice. These tablets dissolve with the release of carbon dioxide, forming an effervescent solution. The Ascorvita Max Mus and Ascorvita Immuno dietary supplements work on a similar principle.
There is also a dietary supplement Ascorvita Max available on the market, which additionally contains zinc and vitamin D in the form of film-coated tablets. This is a different type of pills that are intended to be taken orally. If you are using Ascorvita Max in the form of film-coated tablets, it should be taken orally with a glass of boiled, cooled water.
