I have a question for over a year I have been taking lamitrin in a dose of 200mg to stabilize my mood, I am on the same dose all the time, when I entered lamitrin I did not have any allergic problems, sometimes such spots appear whether it could be caused by this drug, the psychiatrist says that after such a long time and on a fixed dose it should not occur

Although lamotrigine (Lamitrin) is usually well tolerated, skin reactions can occur even after prolonged use periods, although this is rare. The psychiatrist is right that the risk of such reactions is lower after a long time on a fixed dose, but it is not zero.
