Yes. Vargatef (nintedanib) is a medication used to treat certain types of cancers, such as lung cancer, as well as to treat idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF). As a tyrosine kinase inhibitor, nintedanib works by inhibiting the processes that support the growth and spread of cancer cells and tissue fibrosis.
Muscle pain, fatigue, and weakness may be among the side effects of nintedanib.
If you experience muscle pain while taking Vargatef, it is important to tell your doctor. Your doctor can assess the severity of your symptoms and decide whether you need to adjust your dose, change your medication or give you additional symptomatic treatment.
