Can you combine Ibuprom 600 mg and mint?

Good morning! I am currently taking ibuprom 600mg three times a day (doctor's recommendation). Can I drink peppermint tea during the treatment? I usually drink 2-3 glasses a day.
Best regards.

If you are a healthy person (you do not suffer from digestive system diseases, e.g. stomach ulcers), there are no contraindications to drinking mint tea during treatment with Ibuprom.

However, it should be borne in mind that the use of peppermint preparations in excessive amounts may result in increased heartburn, gastroesophageal reflux, as well as irritation of the gastric mucosa.

If you have been diagnosed with reflux, gastric or duodenal ulcers, etc., you should avoid such a combination as it increases the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding or exacerbation of gastrointestinal disease symptoms.
