Is spotting after treatment with Fluomizin and Gynoflor for 12 days a side effect of the pills?

I was prescribed to use Fluomizin and Gynoflor for 6 days each so total of 12 days for BV. however, as soon as I finished the treatment I notice spotting since 7 days and it still hasn’t stopped. It’s bit brownish red in color and little in consistency but I don’t know if it’s a usual side effect of the pills or should I see a GYN

Spotting persisting for 7 days after the end of treatment with Fluomizin and Gynoflor is not a typical side effect of these drugs.

The brownish-red color and consistency of the spotting can indicate various causes, not necessarily related to the treatment of bacterial vaginosis itself. In this situation, I encourage you to consult your gynaecologist again. Additional tests or adjustment of further treatment may be necessary.
