Can nausea and vomiting occur when using Polaring? Is this normal and how long does it take for it to pass?

Yes. Polaring is a hormonal contraceptive in the form of a vaginal ring. It works by releasing hormones that prevent ovulation, change the cervical mucus and the lining of the uterus, which makes it difficult for the embryo to fertilize and implant.
Nausea and vomiting are fairly common side effects of hormonal contraceptives, including Polaring. These can go away after a few weeks of use as your body gets used to the new hormones. If your symptoms are severe or persist, your doctor may consider other forms of contraception that may be better tolerated by your body.
