After a poorly applied second patch and replacement with the third patch on Thursday, on Saturday the symptoms of my period and spotting appeared – what does it mean and what should I do?

I've been using the patches for half a year. When I had the 2nd patch in the cycle, it seems to me that it was not well glued (the corners were sticking out slightly), and then it peeled off halfway, but I stuck it and it stayed, on Thursday I replaced it with the 3rd patch, and on Saturday of the same week I have symptoms of my period and spotting, what should I do? And what does it mean?

In this situation, if the contraceptive patch was not properly applied and partially detached, the effectiveness of contraception may have been reduced. The spotting and period symptoms that appeared on Saturday may be the result of a hormonal imbalance caused by patch problems.

Continue to use the patches as scheduled, and use an additional method of contraception, such as a condom, for the next 7 days. If spotting persists or intensifies, it is worth consulting a gynecologist. If you are not able to make a face-to-face visit, I attach a link to the online teleconsultation:
