Not all birth control pills cause soreness and swelling of the breasts, but these are quite common side effects, especially at the beginning of use. Breast soreness and swelling can occur due to hormonal changes caused by birth control pills that contain estrogen and progestin.
Generally, different birth control pills have different combinations and doses of estrogen and progestogens. These differences can affect the occurrence and severity of side effects. What causes side effects in one person may be well tolerated by another. There is therefore a chance that after switching to Novynette the mentioned side effects will pass.
