Can you stop taking Evry in the middle of the cycle and when will a normal menstruation occur?

Hello, I have a few questions about discontinuing evra patches
Will anything undesirable happen if I stop using the patches in the middle of the cycle, e.g. after the second patch? Will there be bleeding then, as it always happens after removing the 3rd patch? How long can it take for the next period after withdrawal to come, this time the "normal" one, and not from withdrawal? Thank you in advance for your answers

If you have experienced worrying side effects, you can stop using hormonal contraception in the middle of the cycle. Withdrawal bleeding may occur. Usually, the body returns to normal functions one month after stopping contraception (in the case of sudden discontinuation - it may take a little longer), while ovulation may occur earlier, so you should plan for another type of protection during this period (e.g. a condom).

In case of any doubts, I encourage you to use the teleconsultation with a gynaecologist - the service is available on our website in the e-visit tab:
