Insomnia is not listed as a common side effect of Epclusa, but reactions to medications can be individual.
If you have experienced insomnia after taking your first tablet of Epclus, you should consult your treating doctor immediately. If you are not able to make a face-to-face visit, I attach a link to the online teleconsultation:

I encourage you to report the symptoms you experience to your doctor, as well as to report the occurrence of an adverse effect of the preparation. Reporting side effects allows you to increase control over medicines available on the market. We wrote more about how and why to report side effects in the article:

In this situation, it is also worth considering adjusting the dosage and taking Epclus in the morning so that the drug affects the circadian rhythm to a lesser extent. Natural methods of dealing with insomnia should also be implemented, e.g. aromatherapy, meditation, etc.
We wrote more about it here:

Epclusa is an important drug in the treatment of chronic hepatitis C, so the decision to stop or continue treatment should be made together with your doctor, taking into account the benefits and potential side effects. Please remember that modifying the dosage on your own or stopping treatment can be dangerous and affect the effectiveness of therapy. We wrote more about it here:
