Femoston is a hormone replacement therapy (HRT) used primarily to relieve menopausal symptoms such as hot flashes, night sweats, irritability, and prevent osteoporosis. Femoston contains two hormones: estrogen (estradiol) and progestin (dydrogesterone).

Symptoms such as breast enlargement and tenderness are quite common when using hormone replacement therapy, including Femoston. If the soreness and enlargement of the breasts are very annoying or do not go away, it is worth consulting a doctor. Your doctor may decide to adjust your dose, change your medicine, or suggest additional tests to rule out other possible causes of these symptoms.
