Why do I feel anxious between Lorafen doses?
I have been taking lorafen with a dose reduction for 0.4 3 months. Why is there a lot of anxiety between taking such a small dose?

Lorafen belongs to the group of benzodiazepines, which can cause physical and psychological dependence, even when using low doses. Long-term use of the drug, even at low doses, increases this risk.
The body may become accustomed to the effects of the drug, which can lead to a decrease in its effectiveness over time and the need to increase the dose.
Rapid reduction in the dose of Lorafen may lead to withdrawal symptoms such as increased anxiety, insomnia or irritability.
It is recommended that the duration of treatment with benzodiazepines should not exceed 2-3 months. Taking the drug for more than 3 months can raise concerns about potential long-term effects.
It is important to consult your doctor about any changes in dosage or desire to discontinue the drug. Your doctor can help you develop a safe dose reduction plan or find alternative treatments if necessary.
