Nebicard and Bixebra are prescription medications, they can be used together if they have been prescribed by the same doctor or the prescribers have knowledge of all the preparations used
Nebicard is a drug containing a substance that inhibits beta adrenergic receptors - nebivolol. Nebivolol causes a slowing of heart rate and a decrease in heart rate blood pressure. Ivabradine, the active ingredient in Bixebra, is a medicine that reduces heart rate. When using Nebicard and Bixebra concomitantly, an excessive decrease in heart rate may occur. Therefore, when taking medication at the same time, you should monitor your heart function and report abnormalities to your doctor. Scientific publications show that the synergistic effect of ivabradine (Bixebra) and β-blockers (Nebicard) is effectively used in the treatment of e.g. congestive heart failure.
