Is what-Prenessa Can it cause a persistent cough?

I've been taking Co-Prenessa 2mg for a year now, I have a persistent cough, could these be side effects?

Yes, Co-Prenessa, which is a medication that contains perindopril (an ACE inhibitor) and indapamide (a diuretic), can cause a persistent cough. ACE inhibitors such as perindopril are known to cause coughing. This is a relatively common side effect that affects between 5% and 20% of patients using these drugs. Cough caused by ACE inhibitors is typically dry and persistent, and can occur at any time during treatment, even weeks or months after starting therapy.

If you experience a persistent cough while using Co-Prenessa, you may want to consult your doctor. He may consider changing the drug to another preparation for hypertension.
