Can Gynoflor cause irritation?

Can gynoflor cause irritation? I have been on an antibiotic treatment for several weeks, which has already caused vaginal irritation. Your doctor will prescribe gynoflor for 12 days. After a few days, redness of the mucous membrane appeared.

Yes, Gynoflor can cause irritation in some patients, especially if the vagina is already irritated.

Gynoflor is a medication often prescribed after a course of antibiotics to help restore normal vaginal flora. However, in some cases, especially when the vagina is already irritated, Gynoflor may initially aggravate the symptoms of irritation. This is due to the fact that the drug acts on the vaginal mucosa, which in your case is already sensitive after antibiotic therapy.

In this situation, please contact the doctor who prescribed Gynoflor. He or she may decide to change your treatment or adjust your dose. However, please do not stop treatment without consulting your doctor. If irritation intensifies or new alarming symptoms appear, please contact your doctor immediately. If you are not able to make a face-to-face visit, I attach a link to the online teleconsultation:

Please remember that it may take time to restore the balance of the vaginal bacterial flora, especially after antibiotic therapy. In the meantime, avoid additional irritants such as soaps with fragrances or synthetic underwear.

I encourage you to report an adverse reaction if it has not already been done:
