If you do not know what is the cause of the observed ailments, caution should be exercised in the use of drugs from the group of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, such as ibuprofen or meloxicam, as they may increase the risk of stomach irritation and bleeding from the gastrointestinal tract.
In the case of the elderly, it is worth consulting the use of a painkiller with a doctor also to exclude possible interactions with other, chronically used drugs or negative impact on existing diseases. If abdominal pain occurs frequently or is severe, a medical consultation is recommended to determine its cause and select the appropriate treatment and form of the drug.
