Can Trittico CR 150mg and Anafranil SR 75mg be used together?

The combination of Trittico (trazodone) and Anafranil (clomipramine) is not normally recommended in the guidelines for the treatment of depression or other psychiatric disorders. Concomitant use of such a combination of drugs is not recommended due to potential interactions and increased risk of side effects.

Both of these drugs belong to the group of antidepressants and act on the serotonergic system in the brain. Their simultaneous use can increase the risk of serotonin syndrome, which is a potentially dangerous condition.
In addition, combining these drugs can increase some side effects, such as drowsiness, dizziness, nausea, arrhythmias and changes in blood pressure.
