According to the Summary of Product Characteristics of Xyzal, an uncommon adverse reaction in the form of abdominal pain has been observed with the use of this medicine. However, there is no information on possible side effects after discontinuation of the drug. Xyzal may or may not be the cause of the symptoms you are seeing.
The causes of abdominal pain can be varied. If the symptoms do not subside and are severe, I encourage you to immediately consult a doctor, who will recommend appropriate treatment based on full information about the child's health.
