Can I be pregnant if my period is late and the results of pregnancy tests and beta-HCG performed on day 11 after intercourse are negative?

Good evening, I wanted to ask if I can still be pregnant. I had the 21 June GV and my last period was on the 26 May. I did a blood analysis on July 2nd, it was negative 0.2 HCG-beta and I did pregnancy tests a few days ago were negative. Can implantation still take place, I did everything too early, didn't I? I thank you in advance.

You did a blood test on the 11th day after intercourse, so the beta-HCG result of 0.2 mIU/ml should already be reliable, it indicates that you are not pregnant. Pregnancy tests available in pharmacies performed 10-14 days after intercourse also give reliable results, so pregnancy can be ruled out. The life expectancy of sperm in the female genital tract is estimated at 2-3 days, up to a maximum of 5 days, so there is no possibility for implantation in the next few days, unless you have had another sexual intercourse in the last 3 days and you are ovulating.

It is worth consulting a gynaecologist about the lack of menstruation. The causes of menstrual disorders can be various and result, for example, from stress, intense physical exertion, and certain diseases. The Gdziepolek.pl portal allows you to take advantage of teleconsultations, which takes place in Polish:
