It is not recommended to drink alcohol after taking Anticol, even in small doses and for a short time. Anticol (disulfiram) is a medication used to treat alcohol addiction and works by interfering with the body's metabolism of alcohol.

It is important to understand that the interaction between disulfiram and alcohol can be very dangerous and potentially life-threatening. The effects of this interaction may occur even a few days after stopping taking the drug.

The duration of disulfiram's effects in the body may vary from person to person, but it is generally recommended to wait at least 14 days after stopping the drug before consuming alcohol. This time is needed for the active ingredient of the drug to be completely eliminated from the body.

Anticol is a prescription drug and should only be used under medical supervision. It is therefore best to consult with your attending physician, who can provide precise guidance on the safe period of abstinence in your specific case. If you are unable to consult your doctor, you can use the teleconsultation here:

If you have problems with alcohol, it is worth considering comprehensive addiction treatment, which includes not only pharmacotherapy, but also psychological support and behavioral therapy.
