Are any of my medications: Trittico CR, Seronil 10 mg, Nebilet 5 mg and Caramlo 16mg + 5mg, causing a low pulse?

Hello, for over a week I have been taking Trittico 75 mg (2/3 tablets) at night to this Seronil 10 mg in the morning. In addition, I take hypertension medications Nebilet 5 mg and Caramlo 16mg + 5mg. Recently I have noticed that my heart rate at rest is below 60 and sometimes even below 50. Do any of these drugs cause such a low pulse?

A low pulse (bradycardia) can be a side effect of several of the medications you mentioned.

Nebilet (nebivolol): It is a beta-blocker used to treat hypertension and heart disease. Beta-blockers are well known for being able to lower the pulse because they reduce the activity of the sympathetic nervous system, leading to a slower heart rate. He is the most likely culprit. Beta-blockers have a strong effect on reducing the pulse.

Caramlo (amlodipine and candesartan): Amlodipine is a calcium channel antagonist and candesartan is an angiotensin II receptor blocker. Amlodipine can affect the pulse, but is less likely to cause significant bradycardia compared to beta-blockers. https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/99940/caramlo-16-mg-5-mg-tabletki/apteki

Trittico (trazodone): It is an antidepressant and can affect the cardiovascular system, but bradycardia is a rare side effect. However, when combined with other medications, it can increase the risk. https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/80016/trittico-cr-tabletki-o-przedluzonym-uwalnianiu/apteki

Seronil (fluoxetine): It is a serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI). It is not typically associated with bradycardia, but it can affect the pulse indirectly, especially in combination with other drugs. https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/70687/seronil-tabletki-powlekane/apteki

In such a situation, you should consult a doctor to modify the treatment. You may need to adjust the dosage of your medications or change one. In the meantime, please monitor your pulse regularly, it can help your doctor to judge the situation.
