Can I use Cogiton to improve my memory if I have had a stomach ulcer in the past?

Cogiton prescribed a psychiatrist to improve memory .
There is a disclaimer in the leaflet, to be used,- I once had a stomach ulcer, I have concerns to use Please tell me if I can use this drug anyway ?

Cogiton (piracetam) is a nootropic drug, used, m.in, to improve cognitive function, including memory. This drug is prescribed by doctors for a variety of neurological and psychiatric conditions.

If you do not currently have active peptic ulcer disease or are not taking non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) at the same time, there is no reason to worry. Clinical trials of Cogiton did not show an increase in the incidence of peptic ulcer disease or gastrointestinal bleeding compared to placebo.

If you decide to take the drug, you should carefully observe any disturbing symptoms from the digestive system. It is also worth considering taking it with a meal, which can reduce the risk of stomach irritation.
